Dear Family and Friends:
Sharon Leonard is doing remarkably well for a lady who just a month ago appeared to be at Heaven’s gates. She is talking a little better every day. Her short term memory is getting better also. Her mobility is still slow, but she has come such a long way that if she continues as well she will be released possibly home this week. What a miracle Sharon is! Her family has been so thankful for all the prayers for Sharon and her recovery from the brain aneurysm. It has been our pleasure to have this God-loving family during this time!
Amy Walker, our 34 year old mom of two was able to go home for a very short couple of days this week. Just a small break from all the chemotherapy she has been undergoing for her AML (acute myeloid leukemia). She returns back to Sacred Heart Hospital this coming week. Per Amy, her blood counts are showing a small positive direction. She either has to wear a mask or others do to prevent her from any infections. Rody, her fiance’ has stayed by her side every day during this time. Her sons continue to stay with their dad in Loiuisiana until she can receive visitors.
Betty Blocker continues to have up and down days at Select Hospital. Her husband, William has been with Ken Horne now since January 2, 2018. Ken, there are no words to tell you how much we have appreciated your love and dedication for the Blockers and The Vineyard Family house! Ms. Betty continues to suffer from respiratory and kidney failure. She requires periodic kidney dialysis every week.
Austin Mulligan continues to make slow progress as a patient at Select Specialty hospital. His parents continue to work at having Austin transferred to Shepherd’s Neurological Center in Atlanta, GA. Austin will move his arm(s) on request, open and close his hands, follow you sometimes. and moves his legs. He does all of these commands upon request! WOW! From a guy back in early December, 2017, Austin is a miracle! Please keep him and his family in your prayers this week.
Dennis and I cannot begin to thank each one of you for your prayers and support of this ministry. Our families feel those prayers.
Blessings to you all !
Love, Always in His Name!
