Dear Family and Friends:
Last week we also added to our Vineyard Family house the family of Angela B. Ben, her husband shared that he and his entire family of 6 was hit head on by a car at 70 mph. His wife was crushed between the seat and steering column. He shared as she was gasping and “gurgling”, as she told her family that “God was in control”, and, “Do not ever give up on God”!
Ben, a firefighter from Tennessee, called 911. He shared he felt Angela’s chest was crushed ( 10 broken ribs per him later), and that he knew she would die soon if they did not get her out of the car. Per him, they were in a remote area north of Panama City, FL. A volunteer fire department truck responded within 10 minutes and just happened to have on their truck, the “jaws of life” to extract accident victims. They got Angela out.
She is alive, and recovering at Sacred Heart hospital. She has several broken bones. Their 5 year old daughter was transferred to Children’s hospital here in Pensacola. Two daughters to Dothan, AL hospital, and one son to Mobile, AL.
ALL are alive!. The 17 year old driver is also alive and recovering per Ben also. Her passenger is recovering from a traumatic brain injury.
God is good– all the time!!!
