It’s a whole new day!

Marty TackettNews

Let’s just say Martha’s Vineyard is going to take on a whole new look! As of two months ago, Christian Ministries, a non-profit organization is going to come along side of Martha’s Vineyard of Pensacola, assist us in attaining our non-profit status, and allow any tax-deductible donations be made to them for the Vineyard until we get our 501-C3 status! They are literally going to be our “Mother-ship” and guidance counselor until we get through this process. Because of them, they are also off-setting my salary at Baptist Hospital to allow me to go full-time here at the Vineyard to attain this! How awesome is this! Up until now, It has taken my salary to keep the Vineyard going. But, praise God, I now have the time to get this ministry solvent for generations to come.

We have served so far:
207 house guests. We currently have 3 families. 2 cancer patients being treated for chemotherapy/radiation treatments. They will be with us for 5 to 8 weeks. Melissa and Carl. We have Sandy also, whose son, Trey suffered a brain stem injury from a dirt bike accident. He is at Baptist Hospital right now. For how long, we don’t know.
Where would these people be if it were not for Martha’s Vineyard of Pensacola?
Melissa was sharing with me she has no family, is from out of town just over 100 miles from here. Carl lived just over 60 miles from here too. Same story. No family either. Both needed the chemotherapy/radiation treatment.

Dennis and I just want this ministry to live for the next generation. We have already promised to give the house to the ministry. If you want to give anything to see that this ministry does continue to grow–and believe me we need to, you can give your tax-deductible donation to:
