Marty TackettNews

Dear Family and Friends:
Yesterday, we welcomed in Reverend Curtis Coleman.  His wife, Gloria was admitted to Select hospital after having a cardiac arrest while on dialysis per Rev. Coleman earlier this week.  She is on full life support in the ICU at Select hospital. They are from the Andalusia, AL area.  Please be in prayer for them both.
We also welcomed in Donald Durkee, uncle to Sheila Lee, who has been at the Select hospital now since October, 22, 2018.  Sheila’s husband, Eugene and daughters only get to come on the weekends.  Donald is giving his sister, Carolyn a much needed break.  Sheila had been making great strides until last night.  Fluid is collecting again per Donald.  She needed assistance with her breathing and was placed back on the ventilator.  Donald shared with me the doctors are concerned that Sheila’s MDS (bone marrow cancer) is causing havoc again and could possibly emerging into leukemia.  This is causing much concern.  Please keep Ms. Sheila in your prayers tonight.
Corinne Maxwell is now in hospice at Sacred Heart.  Daughter, Susan will be staying with Mary and Steve B., one of our church families this week and move to the Vineyard at the end of the week.  Susan and her husband, Dave are from Columbiaville, Michigan.  Thanks Mary and Steve!
Sharon Edery could not  get the the required visa to come in from Canada.  Per her, finalizing all of her mother’s final arrangements are up in the air.  I could sense extreme frustration from Sharon.  Please keep her in prayer
We need to express our condolences to the family of Claudia McClellan who passed away December 29 in Covenent hospice care at Sacred Heart hospital.  Her family was from the Foley, AL area.
We were able to get a great room price for the family of Robert Robbins who is a patient at Sacred Heart hospital.  Sister, Ella Johnson is from Arverne, NY and  her niece from Andalusia, AL.
As you can see, we continue to stay very busy here at the house.  Just keep all of these fine people and their loved ones in your prayers.
Blessings, and, always, love in His Name!
