Dear Family and Friends:
We welcomed in the family of Jerome St. Piere’ yesterday.  Mikia St. Piere’ Hollida and her brothers are from San Antonio, TX.  Their dad was placed in hospice care at Sacred Heart hospital.  Sadly, their father passed away early yesterday morning, but Mikia’s brothers did get here to spend some time with him.  They now have the task to clear out his house here in the Pensacola area.  Mikia will be staying with us and her brothers are at a local hotel.  Their plan is to have a memorial service for him back in Texas.  Our deepest condolences to this family.
We also welcomed in the family of Gladys Grant from the Panama City, Florida area.  Granddaughter Jennifer Redman stayed with Penny and Bob C. earlier in the week.  Ms. Gladys was a patient at Baptist hospital but was later moved to a hospice center closer to Panama City and all of her extended family.  From Jennifer we heard that there is quite an extensive family that is just glad to have her closer to them in the coming days. Ms. Gladys is in her early 90’s.
Gloria Coleman did receive her tracheotomy last week and has since been moved to a private room at Select Specialty hospital here in Pensacola.  She remains on a ventilator per her daughter, Percy, and husband, Reverend Curtis Coleman.  Per Rev. Coleman, she also received a “PEG” tube into her stomach so that she can have liquid nutrition while she is on the ventilator.  Rev. Coleman was telling me this morning she does appear to be a little more alert.  Still requiring kidney dialysis.  She is still very sick prayer partners.  Either he or their daughter are with her every day.  Please keep this sweet family in your prayers today. They are from Andalusia, AL area.
Jessie Jamison has surprised everyone in the CCU department at Baptist Hospital.  He is awake, answers “yes” and “no” questions, knows where he is at, and knows his family members!  WOW!  This is a complete change from last week.  Per his mother, Bettye, he has totally astounded his doctors and nurses.  The ECMO was weaned off, and the tubes removed.  Yes, he is still on a ventilator, and his kidneys have been challenged with all of the fluids coming and going, but, he has made in his mom’s words, “God moving progress!”.  His  family and fiance’ Michelle could not be more happy.  Please continue to pray for this 45 year young guy.  This family is from the Foley, AL area.
Blessings to all of you.  We are grateful to your prayers and support!
Love, Always in His Name!
