Dear Family and Friends:
What a busy week we have had this week!
Pictured is Nathan Brown, his parents, Mark and Shell, and all 5 of his siblings.  The first picture is Nathan outside of Select Hospital as he was being discharged!  He traveled back to Tennessee. BUT, before he was re-admitted to an in-patient  rehabilitation center for further physical, occupational, and speech therapy. he went by his home to be greeted by all five siblings.  Nathan continues to remain on room air, and minimal medications.  He has lost a total of 80 pounds since he became sick with COVID in late April, 2021.  But, what a miracle he is.  His parents has expressed a sincere “thank you” to all of the prayers sent Nathan’s way.
Colinda received word from her oncology doctors that after 42 treatments, her tumors have not shrunk at all. She has been unable to eat because of the effects of the chemotherapy and radiation treatments she was telling me and for now, her doctors are giving her body a break.  She has asked that you please continue your prayers.  Colinda, as you recall, was diagnosed with lymph and brain cancer.
We want to welcome in Karrie M.  from Mobile, AL.  Per Karrie, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer.  She has been on our wait list for 3 weeks.  She has several weeks of chemotherapy and radiation yet to go.  Her caregiver, Mike will be with her here during her treatments.
We also want to welcome in the family of Emily W.  Sherry W., Emily’s mom and Ray C., her fiance’ will be trading off staying with Emily at Sacred Heart Hospital.  Per mom, Emily needs her gall bladder out but also has a gall stone blocking the duct from her liver.  May require two separate surgeries.  This family is from Panama City, Florida.
Monday, we welcome in Linda S.  Her husband, Jerry needs open heart surgery.  They are from Brewton, AL.  Linda was sharing with me that Jerry has been on a kidney transplant wait list for almost two years.  Because he requires dialysis, she has been cautioned that his hospital stay may be prolonged because of the dialysis.
Joshua 1:9 NIV”Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”.
He will not leave us nor forsake us.  Be of good courage.
Blessings to all of you, Love Always in His Name!
