Dear Family and Friends:
A life changed:  Don Huegulet.  Yes, this is the fine young man you see in the picture.  His parents, Ron and Debbie have been staying with us.  Joe, Don’s big brother came in this week also to be with his parents.  Per his parents, Don had a troubled past.  He went into Teen Challenge about two years ago.  He then found The Waterfront Mission.  This is where he found out that Jesus Christ was his past, present, and future.  Graduating from Waterfront, Don went into REAP. (ReEntry Alliance Pensacola).  This is a mentoring program to assist in reducing criminal recidivism.  They provide opportunities for employment, housing,& mental care.  More than 90% of REAP’s clients have become self-sufficient, crime-free, productive members of the community.  Don was one such recipient.  His family was so proud of him.  Don, was proud of himself.  But, he was assaulted and later died from head trauma.  His assailant is in jail.  We have been honored to host this family.  They all want you to know how grateful they are for all of your prayers.  The Lord changed Don’s life. Don was just 34 years young.

Our deepest condolences to the entire Freeman family.  Melanie, per Brian her husband, had been undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer had developed some breathing problems.  She was transferred from Panama City, FL to West Florida hospital for further intensive care.  Per Brian, the cancer had spread quickly to many of her organs.  She passed last week.  They have 4 children.  Please keep this sweet family in your prayers. Melanie was just 49 years young.
Per Ginger and Bill N., their daughter, Jessica is doing so much better!  The doctors believe she can go to in-home physical therapy perhaps next week!  Jessica, as you recall is recuperating from Covid she contracted in January.  She is learning to walk again per Ginger.  Her parents are so grateful for all of your prayers.  Jessica’s tracheotomy stoma is almost healed closed.  She is “talking up a storm” per her mom.  Prayers answered!
It is with deep sadness that we share this next story.  Sharon S. our precious out-patient cancer patient is to be transferred tomorrow for home hospice care.  She began this journey telling me she was going to “Fight VERY hard” to beat this cancer. Admitted to Baptist hospital last Friday for double pneumonia, Sharon developed large blood clots in both her lungs and heart per Merrill, her husband.  She has had some “serious” strokes per Merrill.  He told me that Sharon had put her life and trust in God a long time ago.  We have so treasured this couple since January 4, 2022.  Please keep this family in your prayers as they gather to spend farewells with Sharon.
And if you are wondering who is that good looking dog sitting so pretty by our Easter Cross, that is Lady.  She is Ron Huegulet’s service animal.  She is the Vineyard’s first service animal!!  Cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful, well behaved little lady she has been here.  She has been a pleasure to host too.
Blessings to all of you, Love Always in His Name!
