Dear Family and Friends:
First, we received this special prayer request. Jessica and Zack Mabe are a couple here in Pensacola. Sometimes this just happens, but Jessica has developed Type 2 diabetes during her pregnancy. Because she is becoming more unstable with the diabetes, she is being C-sectioned this coming Saturday, February 16th. Their baby is a boy, his name is Ryder. Jessica is 34 weeks gestation. A term baby is 40 weeks. Ryder is coming into this world 6 weeks early. We have prayed in the past for infants that needed special prayers. Dennis heard about this request from an email from Jessica’s mother, Lisa, who works for a top-notch realtor here in Pensacola. Right now, though, she is a mother and grandmother very worried about daughter, son-in-law, and new grandson, Ryder. We will keep you up-dated as we hear word on this very special prayer request.
We welcomed in the family of Lawrence Buchanan who had a very serious stroke this week. Family is from Creola and Mobile, AL. Per his daughter, Lauren, he is doing better than they initially thought only because Judy, his wife called 911 as soon as he had stroke-like symptoms. Really sweet family of 3 daughters and wife. He is at Baptist Hospital, SICU.
Per Sarah Padilla, wife of Eldon, he, too, is doing well after his stroke that began in Panama City, FL. They are at Sacred Heart Hospital. Sarah was telling me yesterday that because, again, of quick action, Eldon is doing better than they thought he would be and is hopeful to move to West Florida rehab in a few days for about 3 weeks of therapy. Sons, Jordan and Craig are also very happy for dad’s progress. He is currently at Sacred Heart hospital.
Jessie Tremaine Jemison is still very critical at Baptist Hospital. Mom, Bettye has given her son, “Over to the Lord”. In “His Will, thy be done”. She is such a strong Christian believer. Her daughter and son-in-law are in from Birmingham to support her and Jessie. Michelle, his loving fiance’ comes back and forth from Foley to be here as much as she can. He is in God’s hands at this time. Please continue to pray for this sweet family.
Paul Fulmore continues to improve following a stroke also. He is in rehab at West Florida hospital too. Daughters, Margaret and Donna are staying with Mary B. They are from Boston, MA.
Blessings to all of you, Love Always in His Name!
